Just below the main picture is a link to download and print a document that has several pages of questions to ask a child care program. The first question is about licensing. While there are great caregivers that are only registered or listed in the state of Texas, the very best option is to find a licensed home or center that is licensed by the state. They have experience/education, extensive standards that must be followed, and must comply with continual inspections.

The questions on the checklist cover all that is expected to be in a licensed home/center.
